AHMEN Housing Corporation is a non-profit organization started by Roswell Presbyterian Church as a spin-off of their community outreach ministry that works with many aspects of low income housing, including Homestrech, a transitional housing organization; The Drake House, an emergency housing organization; and Habitat for Humanity.

Between November 2004 and December 2005, Roswell Presbyterian led the efforts in a major refurbishing of four duplexes (8 units) for Homestretch, an organization that provides emergency transitional housing to homeless families. This effort resulted in 700 volunteers offering 18,000 volunteer hours, $53,000 of mission money, and $35,000 of in-kind donations. The experience was so positive that the church members began to research other affordable housing needs and found that no organization in North Fulton County offers support for people in the 50-80% of median income range. It was from that discovery that AHMEN Housing Corporation was launched.
