Ahmen Housing Corporation (AHC) purchases undervalued single family homes in North Fulton that are in need of rehabilitation, including condominiums and town homes; then refurbish these homes at low cost and sell them to qualifying families.

Financing for these families is a combination of a zero-interest and/or forgivable AHC second mortgage combined with a low interest affordable housing market first mortgage. Rehab costs are minimized by utilizing a substantial Ahmen work force of volunteer labor along with in-kind contractor services and donations of materials by local vendors. AHC is also an advocacy organization for preserving affordable rental properties in North Fulton. We are prepared to purchase properties or be politically involved to decrease the demolition of existing affordable apartment complexes.
